Preparation
- Melt the butter and some olive oil in a sauté pan. Add the red onions, season with the salt and pepper, caramelize and set aside.
- Season the chicken breast meat with the salt and pepper and sauté with the garlic and rosemary until almost done. Set aside and allow to rest.
- Cut the chicken into 1/4 inch strips and set aside.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta al dente.
- Sauté the bacon. Add the caramelized onions, tomatoes, blue cheese, QimiQ Sauce Base and chicken.
- Strain the pasta and add to the mixture. Gently toss all the ingredients together, adjust the seasoning and sprinkle with the green onions.
