For 10 portions
- 500g - QimiQ Cream Base 
- 75g - Onion(s), chopped 
- 45g - Parsley roots, diced 
- 45g - Leek, diced 
- 45g - Carrot(s), diced 
- 20g - Butter 
- 150g - Tomato paste 
- 12g - Garlic 
- 300ml - Beef stock 
- 600g - Tomatoes, tinned 
- 3 - Bay leaves 
- 1g - Thyme 
- 3g - Sugar 
- 1g - Cinnamon 
- 450g - Kidney beans, tinned and drained 
- 90g - Streaky bacon, diced 
- 120g - Potatoes, diced 
- 45g - Yellow pepper(s), diced 
- 45g - Red pepper(s), diced 
- 1g - Pepper 
- 6g - Chives, chopped 
Preparation
- Lightly fry the onions, parsley roots, leeks and carrots in the butter.
- Add the tomato puree, garlic, beef stock, tomatoes, bay leaves, thyme, sugar and cinnamon and bring to the boil. Blend smooth.
- Add the beans, bacon, pototo and peppers. Stir in the QimiQ Sauce Base, bring back to the boil and season to taste.
