Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 170 °C (conventional oven). Prepare the pastry according to the instructions on the packet and cut into a square.
- Grease a cake tin or tart form and line with the pastry, forming a rim approx. 3 cm high.
- For the filling: whisk the unchilled QimiQ Classic smooth. Add the quark, vanilla sugar, sugar, lemon zest, egg yolks and corn flour and mix well.
- Whisk the egg whites with the sugar until stiff and fold into the QimiQ mixture.
- Sprinkle the lady finger crumbs on the pastry base.
- Mix the cherries with sugar and corn flour and arrange on the crumbs on the pastry base. Pour the QimiQ mixture over the cherries and bake in the pre-heated oven for approx. 60-70 minutes.
