Ingredients

    QimiQ Sauce Base

  • 30g

    Butter

  • 30g

    AP Flour

  • 125ml

    Chicken stock

  • 400g

    Karst Cave Aged Cheese

  • 20g

    Bread crumbs

  • 20g

    Butter

  • 1tbsp

    Chives

  • 100g

    Smoked bacon

  • 1pcs

    Red bell pepper(s), diced

  • 1tbsp

    Onion powder

  • 20g

    Hot sauce

  • 1small pinch(es)

    Nutmeg, ground

  • 1pinch(es)

    Salt

  • 1pinch(es)

    Black pepper, ground

  • 1.5kg

    Macaroni, cooked

  • 50g

    Karst Cave Aged Cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F (conventional oven).
  2. Sweat the flour in the butter and add the chicken stock and QimiQ Sauce Base. Allow to simmer for approx. 5 minutes and whisk in the Karst Cave Aged Cheese.
  3. Mix the sauce with the remaining ingredients and fill into a casserole dish. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes.
  4. Garnish with herbs and serve.
