Preparation
- Preheat a oven to 350 °F (conventional oven).
- Sauté the pumpkin in the butter. Add the sugar, orange juice, orange zest, ginger and vegetable stock and allow to simmer until the pumpkin is soft.
- Blend the pumpkin smooth. Season to taste and refine with QimiQ Classic. Fold in the bacon cubes.
- Place the shortcrust pastry into a greased cake tin and pour in the pumpkin puree.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 35 minutes.
