    Onion(s), chopped

  • 45g

    Parsley roots, diced

  • 45g

    Leek, diced

  • 45g

    Carrot(s), diced

  • 20g

    Butter

  • 150g

    Tomato paste

  • 12g

    Garlic

  • 300ml

    Beef stock

  • 600g

    Tomatoes, canned

  • 3

    Bay leaves

  • 1g

    Thyme

  • 3g

    Sugar

  • 1g

    Cinnamon

  • 450g

    Kidney beans, tinned and drained

  • 90g

    Streaky bacon, diced

  • 120g

    Potatoes, diced

  • 45g

    Yellow bell pepper(s), diced

  • 45g

    Red bell pepper(s), diced

  • 1g

    Pepper

  • 6g

    Chives, minced

Preparation

  1. Lightly fry the onions, parsley roots, leeks and carrots in the butter.
  2. Add the tomato paste, garlic, beef stock, tomatoes, bay leaves, thyme, sugar and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Blend smooth.
  3. Add the beans, bacon, pototo and peppers. Stir in the QimiQ Sauce Base, bring back to a boil and season to taste.
