Preparation
- Preheat an oven to 340 °F (conventional oven). Prepare the pastry according to the instructions on the packet and cut into a square.
- Grease a cake tin or tart form and line with the pastry, forming a rim approx. 1.
- For the filling: whisk the unchilled QimiQ Classic smooth. Add the quark, vanilla sugar, sugar, lemon zest, egg yolks and corn starch and mix well.
- Whisk the egg whites with the sugar until stiff and fold into the QimiQ mixture.
- Sprinkle the lady finger crumbs on the pastry base.
- Mix the cherries with sugar and corn starch and arrange on the crumbs on the pastry base. Pour the QimiQ mixture over the cherries and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 60-70 minutes.
