For the dough: warm the QimiQ Sauce Base lightly with the sugar. Add the yeast and allow to dissolve.

Place the remaining ingredients into a mixing bowl. Add the QimiQ mixture and knead to a smooth dough. Cover and allow to rest in a warm place for approx. 40-60 minutes. (Tip: allow to rest in an oven at 50 °C.)
For the filling: whisk the unchilled QimiQ Classic smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Preheat the oven to 170 °C (air circulation).
Roll out the dough and cut into 24 equal sized squares. Place one tea spoon of the filling onto each square and fold into a triangle. Allow to rest for a further 20 minutes.
Place the scones onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush with a mixture of eggs and milk. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 30 minutes.
