Preheat the oven to 170 °C (conventional oven).

For the base: whisk the eggs with the sugar and salt until fluffy.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Fill into a greased cake tin and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 40 minutes.
For the cream: melt the ingredients together in a sauce pan and allow to chill for approx. 4 hours.
Pour the cream into a mixing bowl and whip until the required volume has been achieved. Spread the cream onto the cake base and decorate as required.
